- uniball Signo DX, Gel Pen – Enables very tiny writing.
- uniball 207, Gel Pen – Great for fast, smooth, stream of consciousness writing.
- Rhodia Soft Cover A5 dot notebook, or Rhodia Goalbook – My favorite notebook for daily bullet journaling. I have accumulated a big stack of these over the years.
- Moleskin Cahier journals (5 x 8.25 in size) – Nice little notebooks for sketching ideas.
- Roterfaden Taschenbegleiter – The holy grail of personal organizers for A5 format bullet journal enthusiasts. I prefer the thinner suede-lined LTD models, rather than the thicker felt-lined models.
